Public Relations

Talon Communications Group, led by PR veteran Kevin Doel, has spent over a decade helping many of the world’s best software brands to become successful. The first brand we ever launched was Quickoffice back when it was just a spreadsheet and word processor for Palm Pilots in the late ‘90s. Today we represent apps such as GoodReader, which has hit #1 in sales after the launch of its iPad version, and mSecure and BugMe! – both of which are successful productivity apps on multiple platforms.

We're not exclusively limiting ourselves to representing mobile app developers though. We can help any company generate the positive exposure necessary for success -- either locally, nationally, or globally.

Communications Consulting

Remember the old saying from "Cool Hand Luke"? "What we've got here is a failure to communicate!" And George Bernard Shaw once said, "The single biggest problem with communication is the illusion that it has taken place."

Many companies think they're effective at communication because they publish a newsletter, have a website, and send out e-blasts via email -- but is your audience receiving and absorbing your information? Is it useful to them? What will they do with it?

You may need a Communication Audit!

A Communications Audit is an in-depth evaluation process that will help you assess all your communications tools--newsletters, multimedia, printed publications, and even meetings. The audit will identify the strengths and weaknesses of every aspect of your internal and external communications. The scope of your audit can be as large or as small as you like and can result in simple changes to newsletters or intranets or large scale changes such as an internal communications framework that guides all company messaging.

Why should you have Talon conduct a communication audit?

A well-done communications audit will produce a clear understanding of how communications are really working and how effective they are. This improved understanding and the changes that can result from it have several benefits:

  • Improved productivity and competitive advantage
  • Better use of existing and future communications and information technology
  • More efficient use of time
  • Discovery of hidden information resources
  • Improved morale and a stronger corporate culture
